MEMBER CONTRIBUTION: The member contribution is $40.00 for the
year or $25.00 for a semester. Please make checks payable to the Queen
Anne's Chorale, Inc. and submit them to the Treasurer.
CONCERT DRESS FOR THE QUEEN ANNE'S CHORALE:
MEN: Black tuxedo
or black suit with white shirt. Both should be worn with red bow tie,
cummerbund, black socks, and black shoes.
WOMEN: Tailored,
sophisticated long, black dress, one or two piece; no slacks. Dress should
be opaque, not sheer, and have a modest neckline and long sleeves (no bare
arms), banded, hemmed or cuffed but NOT lacy, flouncy or flared. Wear with
black dress shoes, flat or low to medium heels (no spikes or chunks), and
black hosiery. Earrings are fine but for the sake of uniformity and to
minimize distraction for us and the audience, please omit large, chunky,
or noisy jewelry.
LOCATION AND TIMES FOR REHEARSALS:
The Chorale rehearses
every Monday evening at the Centreville United Methodist Church, 608 Church Hill
Road, Centreville, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please
call your Section Attendance Coordinator (listed below) any time you must
miss a rehearsal. There will be at least one rehearsal before each concert
at the concert location.
